J Murdock Homes specializes in custom construction throughout Liberty Hill, Georgetown and surrounding Hill Country. If you do not already have a lot, we have extensive experience in the real estate industry and will be happy to help you find the very best location, based on your needs and your lifestyle. We are happy to assist you whether you have your own plan, are modifying one of our existing plans, or designing your dream home from scratch. We are a “full service custom home builder” offering assistance with lot selection, architectural design, interior design, custom pool design, as well as financing options.

MEET THE BUILDER

Hi, I’m James Murdock
My passion for custom homebuilding began when I was 9 years old, when I was given my first book about architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright. As a kid, I had a fascination with drawing house plans and then trying to build small scale models of them out of sticks, paper, or any other material I could get my hands on. It was then that I realized I wanted to be a part of the home building industry. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin in 2004, my entire career has evolved around residential construction and the home building industry. With over 15 years of experience in multiple facets of the residential construction and home building industry, I have the experience and expertise to turn your dream into a reality.
A native of Georgetown, Texas, I enjoy family life in Liberty Hill with my wife and two children. I enjoy most weekends spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, golfing, fishing, doing yard work and playing with my “bird dog” Pearl.
